“Hello from Iraq” is an open dialogue between performer and audience, incorporating mime, movement, traditional Iraqi songs, poetry, story-telling and film.  It explores the daily life of Iraqi people post-Saddam, and has been inspired by the stories of the people Niz Jabour encountered during a recent visit to his homeland after 17 years of exile. 

Niz Jabour is an award-winning writer, director, actor and film-maker. His hope is that “Hello from Iraq” will help to create humanitarian understanding between his people and the people of Australia.
